  • Should we think in the delay?

  • I like the idea and the aesthetic of mind maps but to be honest I find them cluttered and overwhelming.

    Has anyone else found a mind map variant which overcomes that?

  • I tried to apply right after this video but after i watched it i cant literally to write things down or just summarise. I just feel like i knew it but i cant explain it

  • this is so validating. i've gradually dropped the word count in my notes and started to include diagrams & art, as a way to leave a deatiled "post-it" note for the space in time i was visiting. i thought i had lost my ways of taking comprehensive notes (from my academia days) even tho i can see, its much more of a help when revisiting concepts mentally.

  • i was actually using the less word counts without thinking about it , its so time saving and the info just actually engraves into my brain after 2 to 3 revisions

  • I was always taking notes, extensive notes, and not remembering much. Still, since childhood, I knew this way of learning. I was always lacking in efficiency. I didn't know where I was lacking. I just thought I was not brainy enough. I have spoken to many people about it; nothing helped. I am in a job where I need to always learn and adapt to new technology faster and prepare for certifications always. SO your videos have helped me know how I can be smarter and increase my learning capabilities. I am now going to practically implement what you have mentioned here. Thank you, Dr Sung

  • To be honest, respectfully sir, I just forgot the line before you started saying a new one… but still, I'm gonna give it a try.

  • Should I wait till I’m done reading the chapter or after some X amount of time limit I given myself to read to summarize what I’ve learned?

    @pkd_productions 18 de outubro de 2026 08:45 Responder
  • Respectfully sir, I forget the previous sentence you said the moment you start saying something new. But I will give it a go

  • Somewhat naive …. The persons sitting in class "absorbing" the material not frantically writing notes are usually the ones who have an extended network of helpers including access to notes of top performers from earlier years. This network supplies them with all the info needed to pass exams and even have a stanglehold on past practice exams etc which they will steal from the library. Muslims work like this to corner most positions.

  • This makes me excited to find something to learn. I struggle with distraction but this may help steer my focus more toward what I'm learning.

  • The actual answer to the first question is that we tend to take notes like that because the professor or teacher expects us to memorize tons of information rather than assigning work and tests that involve critical analysis. Our notes mimic the slide deck because often the slide deck isn't made available or there's a problem acessing it. It isn't that we can't learn properly. It's because the system relies on lists of data and facts more often than not, rather than actual thinking.
