  • If the squat trained the glutes with the same effectiveness as hip thrusts and had the added bonus of training other muscles then it seems like squat is win win

  • Do these ultra-selective exercises only when you find you glutes are small proportional to other muscles.

  • Hip thrust should be done with hips. Using back in it makes it like squat.

  • Ive heard its bad for your knees, ankles, lower back and your bladder and reproductive organs. My urologist stated your sitting a heavy weight on top of delicate organs that are unnatural and against bio mechanics. He said hes seen people damage their genitofemoral and ilioinguinal nerves through compression duento this exercise. He also said hip thrusts cause kegels to occur which can cause cpps or pelvic floor dysfunction.
