I'm watching this video on 2026 23 April ❤
I didn’t inherit anything. I didn’t go to college. I did however spend time learning about money and investing and how money works. Also, how it doesn’t work. I retired last year at the age of 47. Debt free. Children’s college paid for. I spent my working years sending money to a brokerage, not Amazon, not car dealers, not restaurants, not banks…
Oh sure, we “looked” poorer than our neighbors at the time. However, now in our mid 40s, we work if we want to. Our assets far out earn people’s careers, and most of those assets, are just growth from what we invested. Not what we saved from wages. Poor people pay interest, wealthy people get paid interest. That is the difference. It always has been. Absolute truth, is still absolute. Often people are victims of their own choices, not a “system”
dead crowd, the instant noodles and mac and cheese was funny asf but hes Asian 🤷🏻♂️ if that was white I bet they would laughed..
"keeping up with the Jones'" is as old as time

Based on my experience, working with a trading expert is the wisest decision. I spent years trying to navigate the market on my own, but I kept making mistakes and losing money.

Motivation for financial literacy
Incredibe speech!
I am 24 and going through the process of financial literacy.
Thanks for clearing a lot of confusions related to needs and wants.
Prosperity Code Series is a goldmine! "The Science of Getting Rich Decoded," "The Art of Money Getting Decoded," and "The Richest Man in Babylon Decoded" pushed my assets to 100k. Amazon Kindle! If you found them great, leave a recommendation comment.
A speech to remember for me👏
Great message
Excellent 👌
I learnt a lot about the generation he describes as the social media generation. How they think and what they do. And why their finances r such a mess. And the urgent need to help this generation!!
Great Ted Talk, thank you for sharing!
How money work;😒
This message is truly eye-opening—not just for the younger generation, but for people of all ages. I once found myself trapped in the cycle of chasing money and material possessions, allowing them to control my life. It took me time to realize how consuming and endless that pursuit can be—like a rabbit hole that only pulls you deeper. Your explanation was clear, insightful, and easy to understand. Thank you for shedding light on such an important topic. I am looking forward to reading your book!
Great talk, as a social media generation i needed this.
Everything is great!
Great conversation about real stuff in a fake social media age.
need a mega session
This is a really frustrating Ted talk because he really drives home the point that being egotistical about your finances and failing to plan for the future, but never follows up on delivering any actionable advice on how to start doing that besides "follow your dreams but spend modestly".
awsome
We are currently in the jaws of the worst bear markets I have seen, the average stock has been cut in half, and the only way to make money this year has been to either short or to trade long in very short time frames. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my dipping $117k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?
read rich dad poor dad to understand the real game of money and financial freedom and financial literacy
for me it was a game changer, totally changed my thoughts about money and how be freedom from bad debt
the author Mr. Robert Kiyosaki one of the richest and cleverest men in USA, SO his book considers the best guide to financial freedom and literacy
I hope it helps you to get your financial freedom 🥂
What i learnt from this was to stop and pause to think – hey are you doing things right or hey you know you can do much more. It’s true that self entitlement, ego, instant gratification , social media- draws our attention and purpose away from what really matters.
