  • "But how can Ator get past its high walls?"
"Hang gliding! A lot of hang-gliding! Hang-gliding up to your ass!"

  • The hang-glider is everything… and nothing. It is life, and death. Goodness, riches, poverty….. and evil.

  • They should have tapped Connery for a cameo as the Green Knight in this one…

  • Maybe this movie doesn't take place in our past, but our future. No, they do say it's in the past.

  • Ah, the Ator films. Like someone looked at some Frank Frazetta paintings, got high on butane, and wrote down the subsequent dreams. It was when we saw Ator soaring over Ludwig II's Bavarian castle that I knew we were up the swanny. That's a crap joke, but I'm strangely proud of it.

  • You outdid yourself with this review. LOL for much of it. Soon after hang gliders became popular, movie makers got the idea of primitive beings being able to make hang gliders. A hang glider requires a substantial knowledge of aerodynamics to build and fly. "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" and "Van Helsing" have some things that could at least match hang gliders in the anachronism department.

  • The McGuffin is everything and nothing. It's meaningless.

  • One of the places cheap films often slip up is tack on the horses: anachronistic bridles, stirrups before they were invented etc.

  • “It won’t be an easy journey.”

Actually it’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.
